A Picture!

Photo by Patrick Conway (click to see larger version).

Due to a combination of busy-ness this week and a silly mistake on my part while scanning stuff for this week’s post about 1921 in Peterborough, said article will be delayed until possibly Friday (no later than Friday, I promise!).  In the meantime, I leave you with this picture from earlier this summer of Jackson Creek, where it makes one its sporadic downtown appearances between Charlotte and King Streets (the view is looking north, at the backs of the buildings on the south side of Charlotte Street).

You can also check out the post about this time of year back in 1869; it was a good year for potatoes in Peterborough!
